Ronald Mcdonald

Have you been to a Mcdonalds and see a clown dressed in yellow with red hair standing in the entrance? Well, his name is Ronald Mcdonalds and it is the primary mascot of the Mcdonald industry. the clown inhabits a fantasy world called McDonald land, and has adventures with his friends Mayor McCheese, the Hamburglar, Grimace, Birdie the Early Bird, and The Fry Kids

Many people work full-time making appearances in the Ronald McDonald costume, visiting children in hospitals. There are also Ronald McDonald Houses, where parents can stay overnight when visiting sick children in nearby chronic care facilities. Since August 2003, McDonald has been officially styled as the "Chief Happiness Officer" of the McDonald's Corporation.

The origin of Ronald McDonald involves Williard Scott, who performed using the moniker "Ronald McDonald, the Hamburger-Happy Clown" in 1963 on three separate television spots. These were the first three television ads featuring the character.

Scott, who went on to become NBC-TV´s Today show weatherman, claims to have "created Ronald McDonald" according to the following excerpt from his book Joy of Living:

“At the time, Bozo was the hottest children's show on the air. You could probably have sent Pluto the Dog or Dumbo the Elephant over and it would have been equally as successful. But I was there, and I was Bozo ... There was something about the combination of hamburgers and Bozo that was irresistible to kids ... That's why when Bozo went off the air a few years later, the local McDonald's people asked me to come up with a new character to take Bozo's place. So, I sat down and created Ronald McDonald.”

Thanks to Williard Scott, many kids in the present can have at Mcdonalds and also this clown helps to attract the attention of people, so that’s one of the reasons Mcdonalds is one of the best restaurants in the entire world.

The JOKER

There is a very peculiar clown. He is a very famous or infamous one in the world of "super heroes". If you like Batman, you know of who iam talking about. The Joker! There are various stories of how the joker became "The Joker". The first story iam going to tell you says that the joker worked in a company as a normal person, but decides to enter to the show business as a clown. After not having the success he wanted to have, he was left with no money and he needed it.So, he associated with some bad guys to steal the same company he used to work on and to get a part of what they stealed. After entering the company, Batman showed up capturing the bad guys but the joker managed to escape. when he escaped, he was exposed to chemicals that made his skin white, his hair green and the red lips, making him crazy and wanting vengance over Batmam.
Another story is a very peculiar one. The joker mentions it in the movie "The Dark Knight", and talks about how he got the scars in his face in shape of a smile. He started telling that his dad always hited his mom and one day he killed her in front of him. After seeing the boy crying, his dad taked a knife and told him: "Why so serious?" making him the scars so he could lookes "happy".
Personally, the joker creeps me out since i was a little kid. The way they projected him in the movies and series always make him so smart and bad; which makes him the perfect villian for a perfect superhero: BATMAN.

Clowns... but not clowns?

Hey bloggers! I hope youve like the blog so far. Today iam gonna talk about clowns, that may not seen as clowns, but they are! How is this possible? Well continue reading and youll find out. ;)
Throught time, we have encounter clowns, that you may not know they are clowns. those are the people who makes us laugh with their way of acting, performing, talking, etc. This people doesnt have makeup, big shoes, red nose, big shoes, etc. But that doesnt mean they are not clowns. A clown is a person that makes you laugh, maybe with a little sillyness, but that does the job. A clear example of a "clown without makeup" is Charles Chaplin. You know him right? That guy who make the world laugh while Hitler aterrorize the world in world war II. He may not looked like a clown, but man how his actions make people "cry" of joyness. Another example resided in Mexico. You know a dark man with mustache and that liked to make jokes about everything? If you are thinking about Cantinflas, you are right. He is one of the great examples because every occurence he does, he made people laugh. I am a big example of this. In past years, my mother always used to tell me to watch the movies with her, but i refused because i thought they were old and boring. But one night i watched one and realize that they were great movies! So researching clowns i found this two examples and thought about writing of them. I hope you like Chaplin or Cantinflas, but if not, go see a movie of them. ;)

Clowns International

"Clown international" is an oragnisation, like the name saids it, that is international for all clowns that want to be members. it was founded in England, but later expanded through out Europe, afffliting and also in USA, Canada, Australia. Beside de the membership that they gave to clowns, there is a section named "Friends of Clowns" that is every member who just enjoys clowning and not necessarily be a clown, and also there is a section named "Junior Clowns" for kids below 16 who are interested in the topic of being a clown.(Clowns international)

This organisation has several ways to approach all the members enrolled. One way is that they send a magazine named "The Joey" to all members, including the "friends of clowns". This magazine includes updates and new information about clowns. They also have a fund to help clowns that are not having success or just being through a bad time.(Clowns International)

This organistion has a website and it contains various topics. the main topics that appear inside are three. There is an option to find a clown near you so you could reach them; also you can access a photo gallery from all events around the world; and finally, thes best atraction in the website is how to become a clown; that incluedes makeup, humour attitude.(Clowns International)

What are some benefits of joining this organisation? Well there are some. You get to know people around the world, get the new updates in clowning, get new ideas for tricks, and for the begginers learn with the help of everyone.(Clowns International)

I think this organisation is one of the reasons clowing has been succesfull because of the globality it has and the way that you can interact with other clowns around the globe, exchanging tips of make up and in costumes , ways of being a clown, new tricks, how to work depending on the show, etc.

Today iam gonna talk about a clown school named "Academy of Performing Arts in clowning"
here is what they do.

Anyone beginning an Internet course for the first time has reservations. Many are afraid that they will not be able to handle the technology. While these concerns are understandable, they are not accurate. Hello bloggers, my name is Fredy Rios and this blog is for english class.This blog is about clown schools. i chose this theme because there was nothing more interesting.... jajaja just kidding. i found interesting how they are schools of clowns. i mean i saw an episode of the simpsons were homer gets into the crusty the clown´s school. i thought it was just a thing invented for the episode but later i knew that the school´s for clowns was for real. i will talk about the simpsons episode later.
in this blog i will talk about the most important schools for clowns in the US, also about what make clowns funny, famous clowns in america, and stuff related to clowns.

Clown classes are offered at community colleges, clown schools and even at theater arts schools. there are over a hundred clown schools listed on a website i would later upload and they have over a hundred teachers that teach a class or workshop.

The courses at the long term clown school programs can be expensive and usually run longer periods (like months or years) and take a lot of effort to complete. But well worth the time and money to the right person. They will teach you, all of the major clown skills. Like how to build a clown character, clown skits, costuming, makeup, and more.

i would later talk about the type of teachers, the courses, specialties, etc. Also about famous schools in the USA, famous clown around the world, famous tricks, etc.
